‘Do Not Disturb’ is a project delivered by The Bay in the beautiful coastal town of Morecambe.
We, with support from the Sea-Changers Marine Conservation Social Fund, will be hosting a series of engagement activities across spring and summer this year to raise awareness of the importance of Morecambe Bay for birds that are both nesting and feeding.

Through wildlife walks, seawatches and art, The Bay will be sharing some of the beauty of Morecambe Bay and the important role it plays for all nature, including birds like ringed plovers, redshanks, knots, and oystercatchers, with our communities, along with creating a series of artworks that share how people can still benefit from the wonders of Morecambe Bay, without disturbing the wildlife that make our coastline home.
As well as focusing on marine conservation, the Marine Conservation Social Fund's unique emphasis is that it will additionally support or enhance participants’ health and well-being and / or deliver benefits for disadvantaged communities, through marine conservation activity.
