Coastal Photography Workshops

Over 8 weeks, a group of young amateur photographers have met at Rossall Point Tower, Fleetwood, to explore the natural habitats of the coastline, through the medium of photography. Using their mobile phones and DSLR cameras, often with attachable telephoto and macro lenses, the group have amassed an incredible selection of coastal photographs, showcasing the diversity of important wildlife species found along the SSSI designated beach and dunes.

Working with photographer and researcher Tristan Poyser, the group have also been able to complete AQA certifications, and integrate the five ways to wellbeing throughout their time in the workshops.

Thank you to our team of young photographers - Al, Anthony, Colin, Craig, Dylan, Kris, and Ross.

You can find the photographs created by our group around Lower Lighthouse, Fleetwood and along the Esplanade.
