About the event

The Wildlife  Trusts' shoresearch programme involves conducting surveys to gather data on marine life. This data is used to help inform conservation policies and decisions, and we need your help to gather this data! Learn how to conduct marine surveys on this training day. No prior knowledge is needed and all training is provided. Once you've completed this training day you'll be able to conduct marine surveys with the help of experienced volunteers  and staff before moving on to leading surveys as and when you feel ready.

This is also a fantastic way to discover the weird and wonderful creatures that live on our shores, including hermit crabs, sea slugs, brittle stars, starfish, and more!
